SYC FUK stands for Street Youth Couture From Unwanted Kids. We design, market, and distribute high-end street wear centered on our core products using the brand name “SYC FUK” and are based out of Downtown, Los Angeles. All of our products are American-made using only the highest quality materials and fabrics and are known for our edgy, unique fit and styling details. Our products include Men and Women’s hoodies, tees, flannels, dresses and jackets/vests, made from denim, fleece, leather and other fabrics. Through multiple wholesale and retail channels, our expanding product line is targeted to fashion-conscious consumers.
SYC FUK is worn today by many celebrities and bands. Literally resonating frequencies of Criss Angel, covering up ink on Nikki Sixx, wrapping the nether regions of Josh Todd from Buckcherry and absorbing sweat from James Kottak of the Scorpions, SYC FUK pieces seem to be the rebel anti-label of choice. The infamously branded SYC FUK GIRLS not only make heads turn and air conditioners automatically turn on, but have caused a ruckus at many events and turned them into nothing but show stoppers! The sexy SYC FUK / LUV SYC Girls line is a little punk rock, more than edgy, but still girly as FUK and can be seen on the Ultimate Playmate Holly Madison, as she shops in Beverly Hills, plays poolside on “Girls Next Door” and “Holly’s World” and on Daisy De La Hoya as she stays true to her Rock and Roll lifestyle on VH1 hit “Daisy Of Love”
SYC FUK is 100 percent pure punk rock and roll rebellion.
SYC FUK clothing is made by and for SYC FUKS.
About the Designer
Bucky Bakes’ passion for anti-fashion developed at an early age. He was born in Pennsylvania and moved to California. Running with the wrong crowd at an early age, his parents moved to Colorado. He later moved to Malibu, California to follow his passion for music and fashion. Growing up and running around as an Unwanted Kid his whole life, Bucky Bakes took a turn at the fork in the street named “Life.” Guided day to day by the rules of “Physics”, his unique style is expressed through the balance of +POSITIVE+ and -NEGATIVE- factors. Plunging deep into the “American Punk Rock” scene he started making his own clothing including tee shirts and jackets. Never accepting the clothing brands that were force fed to him, he proudly ripped, cut, drew, painted, dyed, and safety pinned them together. Bucky’s punk rock roots can be seen in his designs as he hand cuts patches, spray paints, bleaches and FUKS up clothes for heroes of the Unwanted Kids. Members of bands such as Motley Crue, Scorpions, Slipknot, Papa Roach and even Marilyn Manson himself rock out in SYC FUK. Bucky’s passion for anti-fashion shows as he breaks all rules with deconstruction of fabrics, leather, prints and precious metals.
