We are looking for smart, highly-motivated and detail-oriented interns for the summer term and to become part of the SYC FUK Family!

This is an excellent opportunity for anyone who is interested in the fashion industry and wants to learn about the business. Interns will complete the term with a solid knowledge of the fashion industry and even have pieces for their portfolio.  Must be available at least 3 days a week.  Starts immediately and is unpaid, but qualifies for school credit.

Duties include, but are not limited to:
Assisting head designer
Running production-based errands such as sourcing and ordering of fabrics/trim, maintaining fabric inventory, issuing cuts, and quality assurance inspections
Creating flats and linesheets
Maintaining showroom, prepping clothes for shoots and mailings and general office work
Working with stylists and clients
Assisting with casting calls and photoshoots
Preparing for fashion shows and events

Applicants must possess the following skills:
1. Ability to effectively communicate, both verbal and written
2. Working knowledge of computers, Microsoft Office (Word and Excel) and Photoshop
3. Creative, detail-oriented, organized, responsible, proactive and driven and can remain positive and calm under pressure
